Deposit
All take orders require a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the cake order total.
Cake is not considered booked until the deposit has been paid.
Remaining balance must be paid in full on the day the cake is picked up.
All deposits, including cancellations are non-refundable.
Cake Changes
Any changes to your cake order Will be accepted until 5 days prior to the pick up or delivery date. After this time, changes may incur an additional charge.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable. Any balance paid after the deposit, can be refunded if the cake is cancelled one week before the event date.
Release and Liability
We will work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied with your order. We shall not be held responsible for any damages caused to the cake once it leaves the premises or has been delivered. Customer will be advised on how to cut, store, and travel with the cake beforehand. In the unfortunate event that you are not completely satisfied with your order, please email us within 48 hours of receiving your order at cakeorder@msalmas.com.
Cake tasting and consultation
Cake tasting and consultations are by appointment only. We offer appointments Tuesday thru Friday from 9am—4pm. No Saturday appointments (it‘s our busiest day as we are working on a strict time schedule including wedding cakes). Cake consultation includes samples of cakes with fillings and different types of icing. Cake consultations are for 30 minutes and for up to 3 guests only.
Delivery and Setup
We do offer delivery and setup for cakes for an additional charge. Please provide us with the name and address of the location to give you an estimate. All deliveries must be paid in full prior to the delivery date. Please ensure that the cake table is sturdy and not in area of high traffic. We will ensure that the cake table is sturdy and ready and no longer need to be moved before we place the cake on it. Once the cake has been delivered and setup we are not responsible for any damages incurred to the cake.
